Novilinguists’ core business is translation, software localization and independent reviews for select customers carried out through our translation and in-house Quality Assurance departments. We also provide post-editing of machine translation processed files on request. The company develops and strengthens its position on the global market because it focuses on what it knows best: localization services for Information Technologies, Videogame Industry, Medical Sciences and Marketing Communication. To ensure the best possible output, the company works with skilled local language professionals to provide authentic localization and cultural adaptation of the content so that a ‘whole culture’ experience is re-created for the user. We have an in-house Quality Assurance (QA) department to provide the highest output possible. Our company works closely with a strong base of translation specialists and reviewers to serve the tailored needs of our customers.

The symbol we have chosen as a visual representation of Novilinguists was originally designed in an attempt to convey the company’s commitment to embracing change and evolution. The name Novilinguists explicitly refers to the company’s core skill, which is to translate source content into target content in a way that preserves the message while using different syntax and cultural images depending on the target language.

New linguists generate a new language, which includes cultural references but also takes into account the universal need for transparency
. This new language also considers the ancient but ever-changing desire of individuals to establish long-lasting relationships that transform and improve them. Relationships with customers, suppliers and employees are opportunities to achieve a bigger aim which is to develop ties while at the same time achieving the company’s purpose.

In order to further enrich the range of meanings included in the logo we asked people who know us well to combine the image with the professional and emotional content they consider to be particularly associated with Novilinguists.

•    The butterfly wings signify our attempt to enhance change, consolidating the professional and personal identity of individuals and allowing them to spread their wings. The third symbol portrays the completion of a process of metamorphosis that leads the individual to act independently, to embark on his own path.
•    The outer ear signifies the attentive listening process that is essential for any kind of relationship created in the workplace, which attempts to combine deep listening with solutions aimed at fulfilling the requirements of our stakeholders. In our case it also refers to the human and empathic way in which we listen to the people who we deal with every day, fulfilling our overriding desire for recognition as well as striving to work together in a professional way.
•    The apostrophes are typographical symbols that refer directly to the core business of Novilinguists, which is translation and linguistic adaptation. Punctuation is as important as words, because it identifies pauses and the tone with which messages are conveyed. In order to achieve localization that meets the standards of each individual country, the new language also has to consider meta content.
•    The colors of the Italian flag signify that we are deeply rooted in our own culture which is a key factor of success when it comes to providing a state-of-the-art localization. We believe that our creative and professional way of doing business is continuing to promote the Made in Italy brand throughout the world.
